What is Disciple ?

Disciple is a conference, family gathering (as believers of Jesus) and summit for a community of believers centered around Jesus. We believe following Jesus' is the way to see our lives transformed and that his command to go and make disciples of all nations should be at the center of our communities.

Disciple was first held in January 2015 and has been arranged every year since. We’ve been blessed to see God use the conference to inspire and mold a generation of disciples of Jesus. We are passionate to be part of what God is doing and believe He is doing a new thing in our age.

Disciple is arranged in cooperation with different local churches and communities togheter with OPKO.

  • Disciple is for all ages, with a special focus on students and young adults—but everyone is welcome!

  • Disciple takes place at Törnävän Kirkko and Seinäjoen Vapaaseurakunta in Seinäjoki.


  • Disciple is organized in collaboration with PetrusPlus rf., OPKO/FSSM, Seinäjoen Seurakunta, and Seinäjoen Vapaaseurakunta.

  • The conference is completely free. During the weekend, you’ll have the opportunity to give a voluntary gift to help cover event expenses. Even though it’s free, we kindly ask everyone to register. When registering, you can also purchase a Saturday lunch ticket (sold out).

  • As part of the conference arrangements, we have reserved the Syke Hall for participants who are looking for affordable accommodation. You can secure a sleeping spot in the hall by purchasing the appropriate ticket through our ticket store. Please note that you must bring your own mattress, sleeping bag, and any other items you may need.

    For those who prefer more comfortable accommodation, we will send an email to all registered conference participants with information about nearby hostels and hotels offering special conference discounts.

  • Disciple uses Finnish, Swedish, and English. Whenever a session is held in one language, interpretation into the other two is available.
    Interpretation is provided through your phone, so don’t forget to bring your own headphones!

  • Yes! Both venues offer free parking on site or nearby.

  • We do not have dedicated childcare personnel, but we do have a separate space where children can play, as well as some basic childcare facilities. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their own children.
